Three People Hurt In Hunterdon County Crash: State Police

Three people were injured in a two-car crash on County Road 513 in Hunterdon County on the evening of Saturday, Feb. 24, state police said.

At 8:54 p.m., a Nissan traveling on Whitehead Road attempted to make a left onto County Road 513 and crashed into a Jeep SUV traveling southbound, Troy McNair, a spokesman for New Jersey State Police said. The collision caused the Jeep SUV to collide with a fence, McNair said.

The driver of the Nissan, an 18-year-old Glen Rock resident, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital, McNair said. The driver of the Jeep, a 49-year-old Frenchtown resident and a passenger in the Nissan, a 20-year-old Pittstown resident, sustained serious injuries and were transported to an area hospital, McNair said.

The crash remains under investigation.
